This was an existing 704 square foot garage for which the homeowner wished to add a second storey addition for a games room.
This was achieved through the use of engineered I-joists to clear-span the garage interior. A small cantilevered balcony was also added to serve a patio door off on the second storey.
The roof features a vaulted ceiling which opens up the interior space, and there are a total of 6 windows – 2 of which are lake facing to take in the view.
