This 13′-5″ x 20′-0″, +/-277 square foot deck, replaces an older rear yard deck. The new deck provides egress from the dwelling to the rear yard. A set of stairs lead to grade.
This free-standing deck uses 2×6 PT. decking which rests on 2×8 PT. deck joists. A wood guard with fence board balusters encompasses the deck. Two deck edges have privacy walls with louvers to offer privacy from close neighbours. The piers support 4×4 PT posts and are built from concrete sonotubes with belled footings.
