This 274 square foot deck measuring 22′-6″ x 10′-9″ was extended without a permit. Broere Design & Drafting was hired to provide a site plan and as-built drawings with modifications made where needed to comply with building code.
The deck was build with 2×8 PT. joists with 5/4″x6 PT. decking with a row of picture framing around the perimeter. The guard is constructed with wood posts, rails and balusters. The piers are constructed with 4×4 PT posts on sonotubes with concrete belled out footings.
