The deck framing consists of 2×8 PT. joists with composite decking above with one row of picture framing and a spline running down the middle of the deck. The guard is wood post and rail with metal balusters. A privacy wall is situated at the left side of the deck to offer some seclusion from neighbours. The piers were constructed with belled out concrete footings, with the beams resting directly in the post saddles to suit the low height of the deck above grade.
