This L-shaped deck serves as two doors to the home and to facilitate getting into a swim-spa. It measures 34′-6″ x 26′-4″ and is 502 square feet in area.
The 2×8 PT. joists are cantilevered off the support beams and support 5/4″x6 PT. decking. There is a small section of guard where the grade is greater than 24″ high to the top of the deck surface. The piers are concrete sonotubes with belled out footings that support 6×6 PT. posts.
