This 50 square foot covered porch was an as-built project to submit to the city for approval.
The posts and beams are constructed from Douglas Fir timbers and the roof joists of conventional 2x6s. 1×6 T&G cedar roof decking is exposed from below, and shingles clad the roof surface. The piers are concrete sonotubes with belled out footings.
