This is a two-level deck. The upper level measures 19′-0″ x 6′-0″ and a flight of stairs leads to the lower level 19′-0″ x 20-0″ at-grade deck. Total square footage measures 380 square feet.
The deck framing consists of 2×8 PT. joists with composite decking above with one row of picture framing and a spline running down the middle of the deck. The guard has metal posts, rails and metal balusters. The piers were constructed with belled out concrete footings, with the beams installed flush due to the low height of the deck above grade.
