This 201 square foot pool deck replaces an aging, smaller pool deck.
Where previously the deck was set back from the pool, the deck’s pool gate has been designed to run along the edge of the existing above ground pool. A louvered privacy wall was added along the left side of the deck, while the guard system was changed from non-conforming wood latticing with posts to steel balusters with wooden posts and rails. A row of picture framed deck boards surrounded the deck, and 1×6 boards enclosed the space below. The piers were constructed with belled out concrete footings.
